London, England — [1st July 2026] — A new tournament specifically for padel coaches is to be held in London this summer.
The Clash of the Coaches, organised by World Padel Network®, will be held at Racketeer and will bring together padel coaches from across the UK and Europe to compete, connect and celebrate their role in the sport.
The tournament will be held on Friday 7th August with the action starting at 12pm (BST). Held in partnership with Nico Benitez (NicoPadel22), co-owner of Fast4Padel, the inaugural event will see more than 40 padel coaches competing in mixed teams.
More than a tournament, Clash of the Coaches has been created to recognise and raise the profile of the padel coaching community. Through a format designed to be competitive, inclusive and enjoyable, the event aims to bring coaches together to compete, connect and share their passion for padel.
The first edition is being held in London to coincide with one of the biggest weeks for padel in the UK, presenting itself as a great opportunity to unite the community around coaches.
“Coaches are the people quietly driving padel’s growth, and they deserve a moment of their own,” said Jamie Rowe, founder of World Padel Network.
“The idea came from our first networking event in Barcelona in May during the Padel World Summit.
“We had several coaches there, and speaking to them, it was clear they never got the chance to play together.
“I couldn’t think of a single padel event created specifically to celebrate the coaches and unite the community around them. Clash of the Coaches gives them a place to compete, connect and be recognised.”
Co-organiser Nico Benitez added: “For most people, their coach is their first experience of padel. They’re the people introducing new players to the sport every day, so it felt right to create an event that’s built around them.
“Clash of the Coaches isn’t about crowning the UK’s best padel-playing coach. It’s about bringing the coaching community together in a format that’s fun, inclusive and gives everyone a chance to contribute. If coaches leave having made new connections and already looking forward to next year, we’ll know we’ve achieved something special.”
Coaches interested in taking part can email Jamie at contact@worldpadelnetwork.com.
Further details on format, participants and partners will follow in due course.
