FIP Beyond: a new amateur padel global tour
The International Padel Federation (FIP) has announced the launch of FIP Beyond, a new international competition circuit designed exclusively for amateur padel players.
For a sport that has grown rapidly at club and community level, FIP Beyond represents an important shift – placing everyday players at the centre of a structured, global competitive pathway.
Three categories: B1, B2, and B3
FIP Beyond has been created to support participation, inclusion, and progression in amateur padel. The tour is open to players of different ages (six age categories) and abilities (three tournament categories), offering a clear framework for competition beyond local leagues and club tournaments.
Events will be organised across three levels:
B1 – The highest tier, with prize money and larger international events.
B2 – Competitive amateur tournaments with prize money. The tier below B1.
B3 – Entry-level events focused on participation and experience.
This tiered structure allows players to compete at a level that matches their ability, while still being part of a unified global system.
Six age categories
Unlike traditional tours, FIP Beyond places strong emphasis on age-group competition. Events can include categories such as:
Amateur 18–39 (no prize money)
40+
45+
50+
55+
60+
Each tournament will feature a minimum number of age categories, ensuring accessibility and relevance for the majority of amateur players worldwide.
Rankings & finals
Players competing on the FIP Beyond circuit will earn points towards an international amateur ranking, calculated using their best tournament results.
Top players will qualify for major end-of-season events, including:
FIP Beyond Finals
Continental Cups by Pairs
FIP Beyond World Cup by Pairs
More details on host locations, calendars, and participation will be announced soon, which we’ll share on our website and on social media.
