Club Spotlight:
BOUNC

Where It Started

BOUNC grew out of a simple observation: padel has a natural ability to bring people together. They saw how the sport connects strangers, creates energy, and lowers social barriers – and wanted to build a space designed around that dynamic rather than just around the courts themselves.

The aim was to create somewhere that works for everyone, from first-time players to experienced competitors, without feeling like it’s trying too hard to be either casual or elite.

Learning From Established Markets

Rather than reinventing the wheel, the BOUNC team looked closely at how padel culture has developed in established markets – particularly the Costa del Sol – where the sport is woven into daily life rather than treated as a novelty or a trend. That cultural model, where padel is social infrastructure as much as it is sport, informs how the club operates.

There’s also a bet on coaching. The UK has a growing appetite for structured padel learning, and BOUNC sees an opportunity in connecting that demand with the depth of coaching and playing talent available internationally. The club is working to bring coaches and players from established padel nations to the UK – not just for exhibition, but for sustained development across age groups and ability levels.

Learning from established markets around the world, like Costa Del Sol and understanding how they have built a Culture around Padel, this is at the heart of what BOUNC wants to bring to the UK.

The Space

The courts feature 360-degree perimeter lighting and premium playing surfaces. Off court, there’s a café at the centre of the venue that acts as the social anchor – somewhere to sit, watch, eat, and stay longer than the match requires. The layout is intentional: it’s designed to keep people around rather than funnel them in and out.

Community and Programming

BOUNC runs social sessions, ladders, leagues, themed events, and community nights across all levels. The priority this year is broadening participation – bringing new players into the sport while keeping things competitive enough for regulars.

2026 is an exciting year for BOUNC. We’re focused on developing our academy, deepening our community offering, and continuing to blend padel with lifestyle, food, and culture.

What’s Next

In 2026, the focus is on developing the academy programme, expanding the events calendar, and continuing to explore where padel intersects with food, lifestyle, and culture. The team is particularly interested in collaborations and experiences that introduce the sport to people who haven’t tried it yet.
