About the Academy

The British Padel Academy is dedicated to developing and supporting the future of padel in the UK. With the sport growing rapidly and hundreds of clubs opening across the country, the demand for experienced coaches, structured programmes, and opportunities for players has never been greater.

The Academy’s mission is to raise and maintain standards across coaching, support the progression of elite and next-generation athletes, and work with clubs to strengthen their local communities. Already established across London and the South East – and expanding every month – the Academy is becoming a driving force behind padel’s growth in the UK.

How to Get Involved

There are three main ways for people to connect with the Academy:

  • Coaches – Focused on raising coaching standards, the Academy supports coaches with training, opportunities, and ongoing development.

  • Players – With a proven track record of developing athletes for the GB national teams, the Academy provides pathways for juniors and senior players to compete at the highest levels.

  • Clubs – The Academy partners with clubs to deliver structured coaching programmes, tournaments, events, and long-term development support.

A Word from Dan (Founder)

At the heart of the Academy is Dan, whose coaching career has seen countless players rise to represent Great Britain at both men’s and women’s competitions, including juniors.

“What excites me most as a coach is creating players — taking someone from their first steps in padel and developing them into athletes capable of representing GB. For the Academy, the vision is to build a centre of excellence: a hub where players can progress through a clear pathway and reach their full potential.”

Despite the challenges of limited funding and financial support, the Academy remains determined to build pathways and create opportunities for talent to shine.
