Why Was 6 Love Sports Started?
6 Love Sports was born from something very personal: I simply couldn’t find other women to play with.
When I first fell in love with padel, I struggled to find matches. I played mostly with guys, because I couldn’t seem to find a circle of women, especially advanced players who were playing regularly. I knew they existed, but I had no idea how to find them. And the women who felt just like me had no way of finding one another. There were pockets I discovered, The Argentinian community of course, the Venezuelans. But for the Americans who were new, transitioning from tennis, it was hard!
So I started small.
I slowly gathered a handful of advanced women and we began playing together. Then I realized–if I was having this problem, surely other women were too. That’s when I started arranging small tournaments and meet-ups to get women on the court together.
And that’s when everything changed.
What began as a few friendly matches sparked into an idea for something bigger: a weekly league, a true community event, something that could unite the women’s padel community of Miami. Our very first season launched with 120 players. Today, we’re maxed out at about 150 women–literally as many as our court allocations can handle. If we had 10 courts every week, we would have even more women joining.
Along the way, our captains became the heartbeat of the community. They stepped into leadership roles, brought women together, solved conflicts, organized teams, and created a culture of support. But managing a team of 40–50 women is far more complex than managing a team of 28–32—so the growth wasn’t just in numbers; it required structure, clarity, and thoughtful expansion.
And that’s how 6 Love Sports evolved–from solving my own challenge to building an entire ecosystem for women in padel. What started out of necessity has grown into a movement: a place where women can find matches, find community, find confidence, and find each other.
What’s your mission and your values?
6LS (6 Love Sports) began because I couldn’t find other women to play with. What started as a personal challenge became a community solution: creating a space where women can find matches, find belonging, and find each other. Today, our mission has grown into something much bigger.
We exist to build a community where women connect through sport, friendships, business, support, and shared passion.
Padel brings us together on the court; sisterhood keeps us together long after the matches end.
We want women to train together, compete together, grow together, and also network, collaborate, support one another’s careers and passions, and celebrate each other’s successes. There is nothing more powerful than women supporting women–and 6 Love Sports is built on that belief.
Our Core Values
1) Community Above All
6LS is a home for women. A place to belong.
We create an environment where women not only find playing partners–but real friendships, real support, and real connection.
2) Women Supporting Women
We believe deeply in the strength of sisterhood.
On the court, we lift each other up. Off the court, we share opportunities, business connections, wisdom, and encouragement.
When women support women, magic happens.
3) Empowerment Through Sport
Padel is a vehicle for confidence, growth, strength, and joy.
We help women push their limits, challenge themselves, and discover their potential.
4) Connection On & Off the Court
We play together, but we also network together.
We build relationships, collaborate professionally, and create a community where women thrive in all areas of life.
5) Accessibility & Opportunity
Every woman deserves a place to play–and a place to grow.
We design leagues, clinics, junior pathways, and development programs that open doors for all levels and ages.
6) Excellence in Experience
We deliver high-quality, organized, well-run leagues and events where every woman feels valued, supported, and excited to return.
7) Leadership & Captains
Our captains are community leaders–women who unify teams, communicate with heart, and create a culture of support and inclusion.
8) Growth–Personal & Collective
We aim for continuous improvement: stronger players, stronger teams, stronger communities, and more cities across the world coming together through 6LS.
9) Joy, Passion & Lifestyle
Padel is fun. It’s addictive. It’s a lifestyle.
We celebrate the energy, the laughter, the late-night matches, the friendships, and the moments that make this sport unforgettable.

What’s been your favourite part of the journey so far? What’s been the biggest challenge so far?
My favorite part of this entire journey has been watching the community truly blossom and grow.
Seeing women connect, form real friendships, support each other, and create a sense of sisterhood both on and off the court … that has been the greatest gift. I love seeing players improve, gain confidence, and evolve in their game.
Watching someone go from nervous to powerful, from isolated to connected, from beginner to competitor… that fills my heart every single day.
There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the women of 6 Love Sports flourish, socially, athletically, emotionally, and as a community.
The biggest challenge?
Honestly, managing such a large and passionate group of women can sometimes feel like a thankless task. There are many moving parts, many personalities, and many expectations. I pour my heart and energy into keeping everything organized, smooth, and uplifting, but it can be overwhelming at times.
And of course… the weather.
Rain–unexpected Miami storms, these can throw everything off. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it’s incredibly frustrating because we all want to be out there playing.
Despite the challenges, the joy, the growth, the friendships, and the magic of what we’re building together make every bit of effort worth it. The community we’ve created keeps me going every day. I bounce out of bed at 5 am every single day, excited and energized by this amazing community.
What’s next for 6LS, and what are you most excited about for 2026?
The best is yet to come and I am so excited. As 6 Love Sports enters this next chapter, my mission has never been clearer:
To elevate, empower, and connect women through the sport of padel, building a global community that inspires friendship, competition, and opportunity both on and off the court.
Padel is more than a sport. It’s a lifestyle, a network, and a movement. 6 Love Sports exists to create spaces where women feel powerful, connected, and unstoppable–in sport, in business, and in life.
