Introduction
We recently caught up with Max Lutostanski, Operations Manager at Padium, to learn more about how this standout UK padel club is doing things differently – and why it’s becoming one of the most talked-about names in the game.
From the very beginning, Padium set out to raise the standard. “We wanted to offer a premium experience before, during, and after a game,” Max told us. “But it wasn’t just about high-end facilities. It was about creating something more social and more accessible. A real community.”
Community-First Mindset
That community-first mindset runs through everything Padium does. Yes, the courts are top-tier, but the real difference is in the detail. From the welcoming reception team to the sleek mezzanine bar and lounge areas, the whole place feels designed for people to connect, whether it’s over a match, a post-game drink, or one of the club’s regular social nights.
“We’ve worked hard to make sure it’s a space where anyone can walk in and feel comfortable,” Max said. “Whether you’re picking up a racket for the first time or competing weekly, you’re part of something here.”
Importance of High-Quality Coaching
Coaching is another cornerstone. With over 40 sessions a week for all levels, Padium’s structured programme is helping players across the board grow their game, and find their footing in the sport. “We’ve invested heavily in coaching,” Max explained. “It’s not just about progression, it’s about helping people feel confident and part of the club from day one.”
The result? A growing, loyal player base – and momentum that shows no signs of slowing down.
With a second location launching in Cardiff later this year, and more venues in the pipeline, Padium’s expanding footprint is a sign of what’s possible when quality meets culture. “What’s next is exciting,” Max said. “But more importantly, we’re focused on evolving the community, making sure we stay true to why we started.”
