CLUB SPOTLIGHT:
JUST PADEL

Introduction

Umar and Hasan started Just Padel UK in Preston, England, after becoming passionate about padel themselves. They saw both an emerging market and a shortage of courts to meet growing demand. Determined to make the sport more accessible in the area, they found a site where they could build two courts – enough to welcome new players and help grow the local padel community.

Free Beginner Sessions

From the start, their mission has been about the people. “We offer free beginner sessions with our Coach every week just for people to get into the sport.” Hasan told us. “For us it’s not about financial gains. It’s about building a community around the sport that we love.

Their commitment to community building shines through in their events too. A recent three-month league brought together players of all ages and skill levels, culminating in a celebratory league day with free food and a vibrant family-friendly atmosphere.

Their goal is to make padel “one of the biggest sports in the UK.” And their ambitious plans reflect this. With new sites secured in Blackpool and Bolton, they plan to introduce more courts and continue making padel grow in the UK.

Padel That Never Sleeps

One feature that truly sets them apart is their 24-hour access. Recognising that limited daytime slots were turning players away, they pioneered round-the-clock opening hours – ensuring everyone, no matter their schedule, has a chance to play.

The model has been a success, and they aim to roll it out across all current and future locations. They were also featured in our recent UK Padel Report as a Top Trending club – showing they’re generating significant recent interest. We wish them all the best with growing padel in the North West of England, and commend them on their community above profit approach.
