From the UAE to the UK

Ignite Padel Liverpool was founded by three friends who had already enjoyed business success together in the past. For co-founder Thomas, the spark came while living in the UAE, where he caught the padel bug – just like so many others – after his very first game. Surrounded by countless clubs and exceptional hospitality in the UAE, he was inspired by the way the sport was delivered there.

When Thomas returned to the UK, two things stood out in particular: a shortage of courts and a lack of hospitality in many existing venues. Too often, clubs were little more than a fence and an access system. He and his partners saw an opportunity to create something different, a club with more: quality facilities, a welcoming atmosphere, and a strong sense of community. 

Facilities and Experience

Ignite Padel’s first venue features six outdoor courts with staff always on site, serving specialty coffee, free rental rackets, top-quality balls, and a wide range of cold drinks and snacks. Their second venue offers five indoor and two outdoor courts, a quiet working area (love this!), a viewing mezzanine, and a bar and café – making it as much a social hub as a sporting destination.

Building a Community

Community is at the heart of their approach. They run actively managed WhatsApp groups that players can join via the link in the club’s Instagram bio or on their website. Groups are organised by rankings, and there’s a dedicated women’s-only group too. This digital connection makes it easy for players to arrange matches, meet others of a similar level, and stay engaged with club events.

Looking Ahead

Ignite Padel’s ambition is clear: they aim to grow the brand across the UK, opening as many venues as possible while continually improving their hospitality and facilities to be the best. The vision is to become the best padel operator in the country, combining great courts with the warm, community-driven experience that first inspired Thomas in the UAE and to light a passion for padel within the local community.
