About the Giammalva
With more than 25 years of experience developing collegiate and professional tennis athletes, Giammalva’s legacy in racquet sports runs deep. That heritage sits at the core of the club’s expansion into padel. After seeing the long-term success of its tennis programmes, the team recognised an opportunity to help grow padel in Texas while staying true to what they know best – athlete development, strong pathways, and a genuine love for the game.
From the outset, the ambition extended far beyond building courts. Giammalva was designed as a place where juniors, league players, and competitive athletes can all progress within a supportive, welcoming environment. The result is a club that blends high-performance thinking with a strong sense of community.
What Makes Giammalva Unique
Giammalva offers a complete sporting and lifestyle “oasis” where members can train, compete, socialise, and unwind – all in one place.
The property features an on-site restaurant, four gyms, twenty hard courts, one clay court, four padel courts, a physical therapy clinic, and an on-site school for students in grades six through twelve. Supported by a team of international coaches with extensive experience, the club caters to players at every level. Whether you’re there for a serious training session or a full day of sport and relaxation, everything you need is under one roof.
Facilities & Experience
From the moment players arrive, Giammalva Padel Club feels vibrant and inclusive. The atmosphere is lively – from the front desk to the courts – with music playing, matches underway, and players socialising between games.
On court, padel is both competitive and social, with seating areas that encourage players to stay and connect. The wine bar remains open throughout the day, adding to the relaxed, community-led feel. Daily social play caters to all levels, alongside structured leagues and monthly events that bring the padel community together.
Off the court, members can switch seamlessly between padel, tennis, fitness, and food – creating a holistic club experience that goes well beyond sport.
Community
Players of all backgrounds and abilities are welcomed, with a clear focus on inspiring long-term passion for padel.
In 2026, the club’s plans centre on growth and opportunity. The launch of the Elite Padel Academy this month (January 2026) will support advanced players while continuing to provide a strong foundation for beginners. The goal is simple but ambitious: to ensure every player feels confident, supported, and part of a thriving padel community.
Looking Ahead
One of the most exciting milestones for Giammalva is the launch of its Elite Padel Academy. Endorsed by the United States Padel Association, it will be the first padel academy of its kind in Texas.
With a strong emphasis on youth development and structured, high-level training, the academy represents a major step forward for padel in the region. Looking ahead, Giammalva’s vision is to continue growing the academy and building a lasting legacy – creating opportunities for players of all ages to learn, compete, and connect through padel across Texas and beyond.
