About Padel Islands Dubai

The facilities were created three years ago, inspired by the vision of Johan Hansson – “the inventor of floating padel courts on water.” From day one, the goal was clear: create a truly unique padel experience that blends sport, innovation, and lifestyle.

Finding the right location was key. The team wanted a calm, enclosed body of water with a strong visual identity, and Jumeirah Lakes Towers proved to be the perfect fit. “The combination of the serene lake and Dubai’s iconic skyline makes JLT a one-of-a-kind setting for floating padel courts.” Padel Islands Dubai took over the facilities this month (January 2026), with a renewed concept,  fresh energy, and even bigger plans. The owner and founder remains the same.

Facilities & Experience

From the moment players arrive, the experience feels premium yet relaxed. On court, visitors play on high-quality floating padel courts surrounded by water and skyline views that are hard to beat. Off court, the atmosphere is social, welcoming, and intentionally community-driven – whether you’re there for a competitive match, a social hit, or simply to soak up the vibe. Even though the courts are floating on concrete blocks (with one court weighing over 100 tons), surprisingly, you do not feel any nausea or the floating sensation.

Community

Community sits at the heart of Padel Islands. The club brings players together through regular events, social nights, hobby leagues, and structured matchmaking. Memberships, an active social media presence, and carefully curated community events help connect players of all levels, ensuring everyone feels part of the Padel Islands family – both on and off the court.

Plans for This Year

“We’re incredibly excited about what’s coming next,” Yannick Schramm (Chief Operating Officer), told us. “We just received confirmation that our expansion will include two additional connected floating courts, allowing us to welcome even more players. Alongside this, we’re planning a significantly enhanced social area featuring a golf simulator, cold plunge, and an upgraded food & beverage offering — turning Padel Islands into an even more complete lifestyle destination. 2026 is shaping up to be a very exciting year for us.“
