About Demid (Demid Padel)
Demid first discovered padel around three to four years ago, in a familiar way – a casual game with friends. Like many newcomers, it started without structure or formal training, but from the very first hit, something about the sport felt different. There was an immediate sense that padel had something special.
After an extended period of travel that kept him away from regular play for nearly a year, padel re-entered his life in a much more meaningful way. At the beginning of 2025, already playing at a more advanced level, Demid had a moment of clarity: the thing he looked forward to most every single day was his next padel match or training session. That feeling became impossible to ignore.
Fully Committing to Padel
That realisation led to a difficult but deeply honest decision — to leave his job and fully commit to creating padel content.
“Padel gives me inspiration, a sense of meaning, and daily motivation,” Demid told us. “My mission is simple but ambitious: to bring padel to as many people as possible and show that it’s not only an incredible sport, but also a very social and accessible one.“
In the early stages, Demid Padel was created with the help of a close friend who supported filming and video ideas. Over time, Demid continued the project independently, with occasional help from his girlfriend behind the camera.
Connecting With Demid
The best way to follow Demid’s journey is on Instagram (see @demid_padel), where he’s highly active and genuinely engaged with the community. He regularly replies to comments and messages and sees the platform as a two-way conversation rather than a broadcast channel. Looking ahead, a YouTube channel is also on the horizon.
Community Reflections
The most rewarding part of the journey so far has been the people. Through padel and content creation, Demid has formed countless new connections, friendships, and conversations that continue to shape his experience. Alongside that, there’s a strong sense of daily growth – not just as a padel creator or player, but as a person.
The biggest challenge has been maintaining an intense content rhythm, often creating multiple videos per day, while also navigating impostor syndrome. Surrounded by elite coaches and top-level players, learning to accept his own voice and place within the padel world has been one of the hardest – and most important – lessons.
Leaving his job came at exactly the right time. Burnout had set in, and continuing down that path no longer felt aligned with his goals. Making the decision to step away brought immediate relief and clarity.
His advice to others is simple but powerful: “My advice to others may sound simple, but I truly believe in it: follow your heart and don’t be afraid. If something is truly yours, it will find its way to you. If you genuinely love what you do and put your energy into it, things will come together.“
Looking Ahead To 2026
Looking toward 2026, Demid’s main focus is building a professional YouTube channel and forming a small team to help elevate his content. He’s also exploring more advanced, high-quality padel formats – concepts closer to TV-style programming (we’re excited to see this!). While these ideas are still evolving, the goal is clear: to turn some of those bigger dreams into reality over the next year.
